I'm (hopefully) graduating with an Associates degree in Graphic Design at the end of the Fall semester this year and I REALLY hope that I'll be able to find a job starting out in the industry that I love.

I've been doing a lot of surfing lately... It's amazing how much you can miss in such a short period of time. Lots of pretty things! Here's a few things that have caught my eye... :)

This painting is pretty much amazing...

I'm pretty sure I've seen this house in my dreams before. Luminhaus... Please check out their site and their facebook page, you will be in awe of the photos. And you can totally stay there for vacation too. Amazing.

Are you kidding me? This is drool-worthy. I am pretty broke, but I am seriously contemplating taking this online class because this book is a.maz.ing. The blog is more eye candy than I could ask for. :)

No doubt about it... I'm making one. I'll post pictures of it later. For real though, I love this!

I have decided officially... If and when I have a wedding reception I want to give out glow bracelets. No black lights or anything crazy. No raves. Just glow in the dark bracelets. :)

Well... Well... Well... Hello again blogging world. I never thought it would take this long to get back here, but here I am! Better late than never, right?

Although it's been forever since I've blogged, time seems to be flying by. so fast... I am getting ready to start my third semester at school for Graphic Design. I love it by the way. And I just started my co-op with The Bank of Kentucky (where I've worked in a branch for four years) doing marketing and design... Things are truly looking great! On top of all of that, Eric and I are looking for a house and that's super exciting/scary/nerve-racking all at the same time.

Don't get me wrong, I still stalk all of my favorite blogs... Don't really have time to leave comments, just able to stay long enough to be creepy. :) Facebook consumes most of my internet time these days, duh.

I really don't have any scrapbooking related pictures to post since all I've been doing lately is mainly working on Design projects like Etsy Banners and logos. But I will tell you that on the rare occasion that I get to sit at my own desk at home, I sit and stare at boxes atop boxes, jam packed shelves, full baskets of paper goodness. I want to make something so bad but my brain just won't seem to work that way right now. It's all about the computer and digital-ness. (?)

It's a little frustrating. And I have thought about digital scrap booking but that's just not the same and I wouldn't want to ruin the real thing. I want to make books and to-do lists and all these fancy things that I see on other blogs. Hmmmm... Get your wheels spinning people, what can I do that will satisfy my paper withdrawals!?

I have done one semi-productive thing lately in the realm of "scrapbooking"... I updated the shop! Ah! Crazy, I know! I've been promising this for centuries it seems like. It's all there though for your eyes only! I really want to get The Jelly Bean Joint going again so I can fund my new adventure... New digital design etsy shop. yay! Printables... Downloads... Do-it-yourself stuff... Digital Invites/Announcements... The whole she-bang. Anyway, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it. In the meantime, he's some of the new stuff in the shop (I had to post some kind of pictures!):

My personal favorite is the 30 days 30 reasons journal... I made one for Eric and it was actually pretty amusing to make it and to see his reaction when he read it at the end of the thirty days. Each day I would just write sweet little things that had either happened that day or just something sweet about him in general. :) I had accidentally skipped a day too so I think that was the funniest part. He's my honey bunches!

Anyway, get on over to the shop and check it out... And as always, let me know if you want something custom, because those are my favorite things to make!

So now for the serious stuff. Seriously cool stuff anyways. I have been thinking that I would love to collaborate on a project with someone else in the crafty world. I don't know what, where, when, how, or why... I just know that I want to do something fun and great! It could be a class, a blog, a challenge... I don't know and don't care! I want all of your ideas thrown out there. You want to challenge me to dress a giraffe using nothing but construction paper?? Dare you. Sike, that may actually be dangerous... I hear giraffes are pretty fierce.

Seriously though... on a less cornier note... I really want to give something a go. I need a little spark of creative energy in my life and it's really hard to do when none the people you are around daily are crafty. Plus nobody in the real world has time for fun stuff like we do, right? :) So tell me what you're thinkin'... I'd love to collaborate :)

♥Hello!♥

This will be, by far, the most colorful blog post I've made in a long time and I'm so pumped! I've finally had time to sit down and relax and do nothing but catch up on all of my shows and watch movies on ch131.com... All while painting, drawing, making mini books, and to-do lists. :) Which makes me sooo happy!

My to do list right now consists of:
- STILL buying this car (very very soon now!)
-Attempting to find cute Christmas presents for my friends/family
-LAUNDRY! (I am blessed to have a lot of clothes but geeze. I feel like none of them are ever clean. and hmmm, now that I think about it, I DO need some new jeans.)
-Buy new pair of jeans.
-Take new, cute, artsy-looking pictures of everything and everyone I know and everything I do. I need SOMETHING to fun and interesting to scrapbook with!
-Make a christmas list (one real one and one fantasy christmas list)
-Share my little snowmen ornament pictures on my next blog post
-Find a new hairstyle and get it cut and colored :)

Speaking of to do lists... I made some doodle-y 'to do books'! I'm hoping to put them up in the Etsy shop soon! I just need to get some better pictures first. I'll let you see them anyway of course :) If you are interested in buying or ordering a custom to do book, just email me and let me knoooow!

I've been painting anything I can get my hands on lately and I'm beginning to looove it... Look look! I made this stuff to sell in The Jelly Bean Joint, but it turned out super cute so now my mind is torn. hehe. I can always make myself another one if anyone seems interested in this stuff!

I can not get this song out of my head... But it's cool, because the song is awesome. If you haven't already, download Train's song, Soul Sister, to your ipod... stat. I just ~~got~~ inherited my first i pod from my little sister and I had so much fun putting new songs on it. Now I just need a car* to hook it up to so I can cruise with sweet tunes. :)

*I've decided to go with black instead of the tealish color.

And in honor of the purse party I'm going to tonight, I've been checking out some purse eye candy... Nothing I could ever afford of course, which is why I'm going to a designer knock off purse party tonight, but eye candy none the less...

As I was sitting in my Visual Communications class the other day... Studying for a test, doodling, and making lists instead of taking notes, I came up with, what seems like at the moment, the most brilliant idea! Use classic/popular examples of different Art movements as inspiration for upcoming projects....

We'll see how that works out, but the pictures and examples of the different art movements are one of the only things that keeps me awake during this class so why not use them to my advantage? :) School is going very well by the way. This is my first semester back after a well needed, looooong break and I'm glad that I finally found something that I'm excited to go to school for. Graphic Design is so appealing to me and Mac computers and Adobe Illustrator are my two new best friends. I love it. I'm about to finish my first semester at Gateway and I am so pumped that I feel like I'm graduating already. Most of you don't know me personally, so let me just tell you that this is a HUGE accomplishment for me. :) I feel like my life is actually going somewhere now!

I'm suprised at myself by how quickly I've posted again!

Let me get this off of my chest first... If you are ever in a creative slump, don't rush things along to try to get out of it! I have been in this so called 'slump' for such a long time but coming out of it has been such an awesome ride! I know it sounds nerdy but surfing the web is one of my favorite things to do. And I've been so inspired lately from things that I've seen around the internet that the inspiration is slowly leaking back into other parts of my life... It feels amazing! I haven't jumped into any new and exciting projects yet but that is mostly because I just don't have the time right now. Just wait until I get my hands on some time, a sharpie, and a few pieces of paper! :)

So anyway... Guess what?? If everything goes the way I need it to, I will be crusin' along, singin' songs from my ipod, and lookin' hot in this brand new little Mazda baby:

oh yea. :)

I have been without my own car for over two years now. I am completely ecstatic. (spelling? ahhh... oh well.) I'm almost positive I will put at least 20,000 miles on it within the first month because I won't want to get out.

Holy cow.

It's been since JUNE since I've blogged.

Wowee.

You know how people always say that "time flies"... ? Well that statement has never been more true for me than in the past couple of months. It feels like JUST yesterday that I was swimming in the sun and going to summer concerts and enjoying sunlight until 9:30 pm.

I really miss the Summer. And what makes it worse is that I absolutely dread the winter here in Kentucky. Let's just say I'm not looking forward to it.

What I AM looking forward to however is:

*getting back into the creative state of mind
*making time for new/old hobbies
*coming up with fun/brand new things to put in the etsy
*letting go of all inhibitions that are holding me back from blogging again (did I use that big word correctly?)
*blogging about everyday things and not worrying about if people will enjoy the topics or not
*getting my camera back and taking ~~a lot~~ bajillions of pictures
*buying cute christmas gifts like this for my family and friends
*finding more and more and more amazing blogs/websites like Celine Navarro's
*and more...

Parties. Gradutation, birthday, baby showers, and even random last minute parties for absolutely no reason. It's all about the parties this month. I'm in the process of planning a Hawaiian Luau baby shower for this Sunday... yay! It's going to be great... Hello Loves...

Boy oh Boy it feels so nice to have a few days off in a row from work :) I've been catching up on all of my shows online. So needless to say, I've had plenty of time to sit here and be creative while meeting thirty new gorgeous guys on The Bachlorette, seeing Ugly Betty get promoted to special features editor, all while trying to figure out who Mike Delfino is going to marry on Desperate Housewives. And create, I did!

It feels so nice to be scrapbooking again. I got so caught up in The Jelly Bean Joint for a while that I kind of forgot all about it. But now that the shop is going strong, I can relax and come back to what I love the most about paper and scissors :)

Along with being able to scrap again... I have also fallen back in love with a little place called SIS. Everyone on the site is super nice and the coolest scrapbookers ever! Soooo much talent floating around that place, for real. If you are on SIS, hit me up and let me know so I can mark you as a fave and check out your gallery :) Otay?

SOOoooo... I'm sitting at work right now. Listening to the lovely beep-beep-beep of the cash registers, the crying of the babies, and the repetition of the wonderful grocery store music station.

For those of you who don't know, I work at a bank that is inside of a Kroger grocery store. It gets old sometimes, but I swear I hardly even hear the beeping cash registers anymore. George Michaels is singing Faith right now. I'm so bored I almost want to get up and dance like I'm singing karaoke. I'll tell you how bored I am. No... I'll show you. We don't have much on our computers here so Paint has become one of my favorites. Here are a few of my recent masterpieces...

Layouts? What?

Wowee... I can't beleive it's already been two weeks since I was in Washington D.C. visiting Eric! It's nuts I tell you.

So, Eric has been home for the past two weeks. Amazing. I love the feeling of normalcy. I haven't felt normal for a long time. When Eric is home it just feels like everything is falling into it's right place. But now he's gone again. As soon as things are getting back into the same old groove that I love and that I am so used to, I have to drop him off at the airport and just drive away. I hate that part.

So I've been moping around the house all day long. The most productive things I've done all day are:

1. Unloading my scrapbook crop stuff from the car. (It would have stayed in there for weeks if I hadn't)
2. Scanned and uploaded layouts! Woop woop!

Speaking of scrapbook crop... I went to the Scraptacular crop yesterday (benefiting Oppurtunities Without Limits) and it was so fun! I had to drive to Louisville, but it wasn't too bad. I made new friends, who are awesome... And I actually got some scrapping done, which is a huge deal because I haven't been able to finish a layout for months now. Look!
So yea, while I was at the crop, I sat with a couple of lovely ladies who were super nice and so much fun to talk to! Sammy Jo (who was there with HER etsy shop too, 62 cards) and her sister Dana were pretty much my best friends yesterday. We shared stories about our families and friends and talked about Etsy and scrapbook stuff and blogging allll day. Since I don't have friends that scrapbook and I've never been to a crop before, you can only imagine how relaxing and enjoyable it was for me! Plus, it got me motivated to scan and upload my layouts from the last couple of months. woo! Here are some of those:

For those of you who do not follow me on Twitter... You probably don't know that I've been in Washington D.C. visiting Eric for the past couple of days! yay! We've been staying @ the Hilton for the past few days... Going out to eat and watching movies and all that lovely, fun, nonsense! (By the way... We ate at a restaurant called Red Rock Canyon Grill last night and oh my lordy... It was amazing!)
*Noodles and Company has also stolen my heart. (and their website is super cute to boot!)

We went and saw Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (starring my other boyfriend, Matthew) and I must say that it was rather cute... And I think Lacey Chabert is just so adorable! We also saw Fast and Furious 2... Or whatever it's called. All I have to say is... "eh."

Anyway, we both fly back home tomorrow and Eric will be home for two weeks! His birthday is next weekend and were having a big bash... Can't wait!

More updates to come! I just got done taking a 5 day tutorial by Tim Adams (check out his awesome site, Handemadeology for sooooooo many awesome tips and tricks!) and part of the tutorial was about setting deadlines and committing to posting on your blog... So I'm totally pumped and inspired now, and I have lots of fun ideas floating around in this little brain of mine! See you soon!

I am pretty darn excited about this workshop that Elise Blaha is starting! :) For the following reasons:

1. I haven't made anything other than stuff for the JBJ in a looong time.

2. I can't wait to make things out of THINGS... and not traditional scrapbook supplies.

3. Elise is awesome and she probably thinks I'm creepy for blog stalking so much, but she's seems so cool. lol

4. I can't wait to get inspired again and get my mojo back.

5. It's only 20 buck a roo's! I'm so there.

Soooo, if you haven't noticed, I'm basically obsessed with making lists lately. I'm not sure why but it seems to get the point across so it's cool.

I wish I had more interesting things to talk about, but like I said, I haven't had a lot of time to create for personal amusement lately so I don't have any fun pictures to post! Sorry guys... On a brighter note, I'm going to visit my love, my boyfriend, my Eric... later this month and I can't wait a second longer. I am trying so hard to think of something cute and creative and sweet to do for him but being so far away makes it a difficult task. If you have any ideas, let me know :)

Hello lovlies!

Today is a good day... I'm off work, I managed to get some laundry and cleaning done, and packaged two new orders from the shop! Plus, it's sunny and pleasant outside and I've had a little time to sit on the porch and enjoy it... :)

Fun things in the works:

1. A new alphabet design for The Jelly Bean Joint
2. Trying to get back into the groove of creating a actual scrapook layout
3. Sponsoring over at Gettin Sketchy for the month of April (I got a sneak peak at the sketch... it's awesome!)
4. Planning to create some kind of tutorials, that include items from The JBJ, for the next video blog post!
5. Re-organizing and putting some destash items in the shop... Can't wait to have the extra room in my scrap space!

Layouts galore...

Well it's about time that I did a blog post with an actual scrapbook layout on it, dontcha think? Some of these are from over a month ago... I've just been so darn lazy. But I'm excited to show em!

Happy Thanksgiving! :) I don't know about you, but I personally have a lot to be thankful for... And I love today and I can't wait to eat! hehe

but what I'm really excited about is posting this video blog! yay! Other than my long, straggaly (sp?) hair, un-organization, and weird breathing noises behind the camera... Well hello strangers.... It's been a long time! Sheesh, it's been like, over a month since I updated the blog. Yikes. sorry! Well... like I said over a month ago, all I've been doing is getting ready for the craft show. Well, the craft show didn't go so well, sales-wise, but I did have a lot of fun doing it and I do plan on doing it again! The most awesome thing that came out of this whole ordeal is that I got a huge update in my shop! The Jelly Bean Joint is back up and running, so check it out for sure.

I haven't had any time to scrap... Except for the couple of cards and layouts I did for examples at the craft show. I DO however have pictures of the minibook I made a long time ago after I got home from my girlfriend trip to Gatlinburg TN! Soooo here's some of those!
By the way... The blank books that I put together that I made that Gatlinburg mini out of will be in my etsy within the next couple of days... They are so versatile and awesome!

GOOD NEWS!!! Eric is coming home! :) We don't have a set date, but sometime within the next couple weeks hopefully... four months earlier than scheduled! I can't tell you how happy I am... More pictures to come of me and eric, I'm sure. :) :) :) :)

Yo! I've been designing, scanning, printing, cutting, and packaging pretty much all day long. Why you ask? Because I've decided that I'm going to join in on the fun and be a vendor at a Craft Bazaar that is being held at my old High School in about a month. I'm a little nervous, but I figured I'd try it! :) It's pretty exciting though to see all of these piles of colorful journaling tags filling my whole desk. They are so fun and it makes me want to stop "working" and just play and scrap. But anyways...

What I really wanted to tell you is to check out the new challenge over at Scrapstars! It's pretty cool and you have like, a million different options as far as your challenge goes... You could really go just about anywhere with this *adventure* of a challenge. hehe. Here's mine... My scrap idol!

Holla! I'm back! I finally got to scrap today and it was pretty amazing. I can't show you what I made today... Because it's for Challenge #6 at Scrapstars... But I can show you some LO's that I did a while back. Before my hiatus and before Eric came home.

And this one was obviously from a pretty long time ago.. considering that when Eric came home a couple of weeks ago I hadn't seen him for about six months. But enjoy anyways...

Other good news? I've been working on updating my etsy shop and so far it's been pretty good :) Stop over there and see what's new so far! Here's a couple of sneaks. Throughout the next week or so you'll be seeing more designs... And as always, if you are interested in custom ordering, just lemme know! :) I've been working on some new, more professional-like packaging and it's pretty cute if you ask me.

The almost three weeks that Eric was here... were amazing. I can't even describe it. We had so much fun and it was so nice for things to seem "normal" again. It DOES suck that he's gone again... but I'm still so happy with this boy that it's crazy. yay for us!

Eric decided one night that he was going to make some homemade guacamole for me because I had never had it before... and because he HAS and he loves it. Well, besides the fact that Eric has a hard time keeping his eyes open for pictures, he also had a hard time with the guacamole.

We didn't haven't any kind of mashing untensil... So he had a hard time smashing up the avacados... And after using just about every untensil we had in the kitchen (fork, spoon, spatula, blender), and after the cabinets, counters, and our shirts were covered in green goo... He ended up using his own untensils...

Ridiculous, I know... But we had a good laugh :) And it was still really yummy.

this sucks.

I dropped Eric off at the airport this morning. It sucked. It still sucks. Especially since now I have to be at work all day. If you don't hear from me for seven months... It's because I decided to fall asleep and not wake up until he comes back home. Depressing... I know. Sorry about that.

On a lighter note... You know how, sometimes, you collect random pens on accident from random places? Like the doctors office, or the grocery store when you are signing your name on the credit slip? Well... I'm using one of my randomly collected pens right now. I just noticed that it says:

Sooo I'm dealing with a couple things right now... Which explains the lack of blog-posts, scrapbooking, and surfing the world wide web of scrapping period. I'm not really sure when I'll get back into the regular routine of things. Hopefully within the next few weeks or so. We'll just have to wait it out and see. Ya never know though, I may be popping in from time to time if I get a few extra hours to play around at my scrap desk.

In the mean time... I HAVE to share this because I am just so super excited about it... Remember that little thing that I like to call The Jelly Bean Joint? (aka... My Etsy Shop?) Well, I am pumped to say that my journaling tags will be included in the September "Our House" Kit from Sweet Twee Lab Kits! ahhhh! Amazing right? Sorry I haven't been around much... Just wanted to update... ERIC'S HOME! :) My birthday was AH-MAZE-ING. Mostly because Eric suprised me... This past week has been one of the best weeks of my life. And even though I'll have to say goodbye in the next week, I hope that it will be the second best week of my life. I'll update with pictures soon. I have to go back to work for a few days while Eric's still here... Boo. I'll be back soon though! :) Thank you, by the way, for all the wonderful comments. whoah! It's been forever! eek! Sorry if anyone's been waiting for an update... Here goes nothing! :)

I've been kind of busy lately... Submitting for DT's, going on vacation, working on the etsy stuff, WORKING!, and counting down to the day that Eric comes home (even though I'm still not sure what day it is.) Good news though!!! I made the DT over at ScrapStars!!! Yay! I love their style over there and the challenges are always fun and amazing. I just finished my LO for the challenge that's coming up on the 15th and it was really awesome! Really jogged some old memories... hehe. So anyways, definitely check em out because they are rad and I love it!

I went on a mini vacay with a few of my girlfriends to Gatlinburg, TN and we had a flipping blast! I'd rather not bore you with all of our inside jokes and goofy, GOOFY stories about what happened... I'll just let you come to your own conclusions by looking at a few hilarious pictures (the t-shirts, by the way, looked like we totally pulled them off the store shelf in 1985... right? And the stunna shades?? Don't even get me started! :))

Alright... That's as much as I can post for now as far as the vacay pics go... I'm sure you'll see PLENTY more on LO's to come haha I do have a few LO's that I want to post, but it'll have to wait for another day because I'm falling asleep as we speak. wooooo. The first thing I have to say is... Look what's in my living room...

If you just said, "HOLY CRAP!" Don't worry... That was my reaction too. That's an elk. The largest elk in Kentucky. My dad's latest prized possesion and greatest accomplishment. (No offense to any animal activists out there... I live in Kentucky and my dad's a hunter, what can I say?) Soooo yea... I just had to share that. Because it's been here for a couple weeks now and still... everytime I walk into the room it scares the you know what outta me.

Holy design team callbacks!!! Are you kidding?? I seriously would have done a kartwheel when I saw this except for that I don't know how to do a kartwheel. Go figure, eh? I DID however call my mom and write Eric an email with all capital letters and everything! (I informed him the other day that WRITING IN ALL CAPS LIKE THIS MEANS YOU ARE YELLING, AND IT MAKES ME SAD WHEN HE DOES IT BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE HE'S MAD.) So hopefully he won't think I'm mad, because I'm just yelling from the rooftops how excited I am! I just can't even beleive this. lol

BTW...I'm having so much fun on the DT over at The Scrapbook Site too... The MMASS contest is so fun to see! The entries are crazy awesome and all the ladies in the contest are super sweet.

BTW! I sold the first two kits I put up in the etsy! yippeeeeee! (I would have done kartwheels when that happened to... maybe I should take gymnastics or something) Sooooo I'm in the process of putting together a few more fun kits. The first one is Pink and Purple, very funky, and includes zebra stripes, glitter, and a mini album... How much more fantastic can you get, for real? I want to keep all of it and use it myself lol

BTW!? How could I forget this?? If you haven't gone to see this awesome etsy store... You are missing out, because how cool are these mini journals?? Seriously, there are endless possibilities to what you could do with them. I can't wait to get my hands on one! Here's her blog, Hey You!, she's so sweet and awesome, go say hi!

BTW... I wish I wasn't at work right now... because I would post pictures of the insane object that is sitting in my living room right now. And I can NOT wait. ah. It was so stressful searching for a cabin to stay in down there. I seriously searched for four days straight. Theres about a billion chalets and cabins in Gatlinburg and I was trying to find the perfect one for us. Soooo needless to say, if you need ANY info on chalets in Gatlinburg, I gotcha covered man. But I'm so pumped for this trip, it's gonna be a B-L-A-S-T.

So I'm thinking about hmm... nine or ten months ago... I went to Eric's house, like always... Just to hang out and stay the night. And he tells me he has something for me. ?? Wha? okay? Long story short... A FLIPPIN laptop!!! I cried. lol Probably the best gift EVER. Since my home computer takes about fifteen minutes to turn on, and about five minutes to switch from website to website... A laptop was my dream come true. That's when it all started. The blog, the etsy, contest calls, challenges blogs, new super talented friends, and not to mention a means of communicating with Eric after he left.

Anyway, the reason I brought all of that up is because without Eric, I'd never be able to accomplish something like this: Scrapstreet Magazine July Discovery Drive

I seriously woke up at three a.m. this morning to check it out lol I've been overwhelmed with some amazing words regarding myself and my work lately and I can't thank you all enough!

My next step in the "scrapping world" is to update my etsy shop finally! lol It's been forever and I've kind of let it slip to the side for the past couple of months but I'm ready to try something a little different this time around and I hope that I'll be able to find a few people to jump on this wagon with me! :)

You will be challenged during a 6 week contest at A Walk Down Memory Lane. The grand prize? A Guest Design team spot on our awesome Design team OR a prize package valued at over $100. In your quest to become a Super Scrapper, we will challenge you each week to show off your best work, using a specific manufacturer's products. You may receive additional instructions such as using a sketch, using a layout recipie, or even scraplifting a layout.

Each week, your layout will be voted on by our message board members. Each vote gains you valuable points. This, along with votes from the Design Team will add up to your final score at the end of the contest. The one with the highest point total will be declared our Super Scrapper of the year!

sooo... I got an email from Eric today!!! :) Yippee!! You have no idea how much it brightened my day. I love that boy so much!

ahhhh I know, it's been a while, right?? I've been so absent minded because Eric left to go overseas a couple of days ago. And I've just been worried sick. And for some reason I feel like I LIVE at work. grrrr.

Anyways, I have some fun stuff to talk about! yay! First of all... May kits are up for sale at A Walk Down Memory Lane... You know what you gotta do lol I got to work with the Gadgets and Gizmos kit this month... It was so cute! The little robots were adorable! I still have plenty of paper left over of course because these kits are packed full of paper... So you'll probably be seeing more LO's with this eventually.

See? Aren't they fun!? The other kit for this month- called Tried and True... is full of Basic Grey... Lot's of Red's and Blue's! It's a nice looking kit!! :)

Soooo Saturday is National Scrapbooking day! lol A day dedicated to scrapping is a fantastic day in my book of course. I'll be over at The Scrapbook Site for most of the day because we have a crop going on! Thats right... Most of the sneak peaks and supply lists are up on the message boards for the classes if you wanna go see what ya need... And there's some awesome prizes up for grabs as well... All the pictures of that stuff is over on the boards NOW! Lisa, the owner of the site, has also come up with a point system... For each game, challenge, class you do, the more points you get and the more points you get, the bigger of a discount you get at the store! How flippin cool is that? I can't wait! I have a pretty cool game and challenge that I'll be hosting on Saturday, so you gotta check that out over there. If you can't tell, I'm pumped. :)

Soooo I just got my newsletter from The Scrapbook Site in my e-mail today and it looks awesome!! Photography tips, awesome sketches, journaling prompts and more! Pretty cool eh? Go sign up for it over there!

Anyways, the April challenges are up over on the message boards... I've completed Angie's AD challenge... The ad was awesome by the way! Here's what I came up with...

I love these pictures of my little Buckie boy... Right before I got all his hair chopped off hee hee. He looks so handsome now. Don't worry, I'm sure that I'll scrap those pictures before long too. He can now fit into all of his little sweaters I bought him! lol Before he was way too fluffy to fit. Now he's skinny minnie.

Speaking of cute-ness, I got a nice little treat from A Walk Down Memory Lane a few weeks ago... The December '07 kit! Fun colors that fit Spring perfectly! Good boy-ish color papers and that's exactly what I used them for! I've been waiting to scrap this picture of Jonny Boy for a while now. I used some Basic Grey Obscure buttons on this one too. (I love those things!)

And hey... about that Crop that was today... Even after today you'll still be able to check out the projects and such and you should! Francine made this awesome Hambly overlay mini album that is simply amazing. Sneak peek here. She really inspires me, fo shizzle. She's got the supply list and everything over there.

Well well well... It's that time again! The big day over at A Walk Down Memory Lane! The new April kits are up and ready to be shipped out to you!! Both the Super Star and the Tea Party kits look fabulous! If I haven't said it already, lol, you gotta at least go check em out. And check out what the DT has done with em in the gallery.

I also got some fun fun fun product from the store... So far, I've played with the Paper Trunk Jelly Bean line, and I looove it! I mentioned this on The Scrapbook Site DT blog, but the Basic Grey Obscure buttons and green Thickers daquiri letters go perfectly with the patterned paper. I used some white cardstock, sharpie, and black ink pad to doodle and distress too. Put all of this together... It makes a cute little kit :)

Everything is fantastic!!! Except for ONE thing... I'll make a long story short:
Eric said he MIGHT have a few days leave in April, but not to get my hopes up. I didn't. He told me that they WERE going to have leave and that he would fly me up and we'd go to New York for a few days. WOOOOO! The head honchos wouldn't give them any time off to make reservations so now it's all called off and I won't see him for about seven months. boo. sad. I'm trying not to think about it, so ANYWAYS...

New addition to the Etsy: A fun 4x6 altered sketchbook with lotsa pages!! 220 to be exact! Made with some patterned paper and rubons... I have another book that will soon be in progress so check the shop soon! Speaking of the Etsy, the price and shipping on all of the journaling tags left in the store have been reduced! Yay! Same for the song lyrics canvas'. So hop on over and check it out! Another thing... Check out Kate's blog for awesome LO's and ways you could possibly use the journaling spots and hearts!! How awesome is that?? My journaling spots on SOMEONE ELSE'S awesome layouts? That's crazy!

This past weekend was a blast! Saturday we went to Deadwood, which is the bar that Britt (my cousin) works at. We drank, sang, and danced the night away... A BLAST! My aunt, uncle, cousins and mom were all there along with a bunch of friends. See? (i have no idea why i'm making that weird face in all the pictures lol)

Sooooo... I can't even explain to you how excited I am about The Scrapbook Site design team! If you haven't joined the site yet, ya gotta do it now! So I have exciting news! I get to cross another line off of my List of Things to Do Before I Turn 22!!! I was picked to be on The Scrapbook Site Design Team!! Ah! Do you know how pumped I am? I'm so excited to get to be a part of such a talented group of people... You have to check the site out and join the message board because we're going to have so much fun over there that you'll be jealous if you don't join in! haha I can't wait to get my next kit because the past kit was so awesome... Woop woop! I'm giddy!

Every time Eric's called over the past couple of weeks, I've told him about this design team that I applied for... And when I found out I got it, I called him right away and left him a message telling him to call me. But of course, when he called, he already knew what I was going to say because it's all I've been talking about haha Oh I miss him dearly. I've been so busy lately... Mostly just working. But I've had hardly any time to scrap. Hopefully since I get off of work fairly early today, maybe I can get something done!

WARNING: MAY BE A LONG POST

I the past couple of LO's that I've done have been the most fun for me, ever! I really feel like I'm getting so much more comfortable while I scrap. Before, I always tried to make everything completely perfect... It took me FOREVER to finish a LO. Now... only a few hours lol It feels good though to just put things together however I feel like it and have that be that. I've also discovered that my scissors are very precious to me, haha. I'm always cutting something apart.

Anyways... If you haven't checked out The Scrapbook Site yet, then you are def. missing out! One of the super super talented ladies on the message board there, Pam, (Happy to Be Creating) gave us an awesome challenge... Since it March, the 3rd month of the year, we are supposed to create a LO using 3 of everything. I thought this was an awesome idea, so I got started right away haha. I can not wait to see what everyone one else comes up with because all the ladies (and scrapman) over there are so talented and unique. On my LO, Big Boy Jon, I used 3 photos, 3 ribbons, 3 stars, 3 patterned papers, 3 letters in each word, and 3 words in the title. :) Plus, I love these pictures of Johnny boy, he's such a cute little ham. I also entered this into the ScrapJacked challenge because the whole THREE picture thing turned out to work perfectly for the jack over there! You gotta check out the other entries too because I looked at some of them and they were pretty amazing.

On another note... Guess what I got in the mail today???! My March kit from A Walk Down Memory Lane! It's the Silly Pea Kit and it's all of my favorite colors! How cool is that?? As soon as I got it, I disappeared to my room to my scrap space and started on a LO. I think there may be a few kits left so you gotta hop over there and catch it before it's too late! It really is a cool kit. It's got some pretty adorable bling in it too. This LO doesn't do it justice because I didn't use all of the patterned papers in this one, but it'll give you a little taste, haha. Seriously though, check it out. The LO is all about my friend Julia. (We call her Julia Gulia.) She met her fiance a couple years ago on an internet dating site!! He lived in TEXAS!!! and after they visited eachother back and forth for a while... She decided to take the leap to TEXAS!!! and as much as I'm happy for her, I'm sad. Because I miss her. This picture is from her visit back here at the end of December. She's getting married soon and I can't wait!! She's awesome.

Well, it's pretty darn late... Hopefully work is called off tomorrow because of the foot of snow were supposed to have. lol I don't think I'll be able to get out of the driveway anyways. We'll see! Later Tater!

I don't have too much to say... It's been a pretty boring weekend. I did talk to Eric today though... He that he might get a four day leave and be able to come back home for a few days! But he told me not to get my hopes up so I'm not going to talk about it anymore because I'll jinx myself lol I did a little scrappin this weekend... I made a layout for my little sister to frame and give to her friend as a birthday gift. My sister is on the right and thats her friend on the left, Kaytlyn. I scraplifted a little from a layout in Scrapbooks ETC. mag... Although I don't have it with me right now to tell you the name. (Tomorrow maybe) It turned out better than I thought it would... and it looked even better in the frame. After my sister came home from her party today she told me that Kaytlyn said it was the best present she's ever gotten. yay! My sister probably told her that she made it herself haha Oh well. She's goofy. Speaking of my sister though, the other layout that I did this weekend was starring her and her own pictures that she took of herself. I was snooping through pictures on her camera the other day and just loved a bunch of the ones she had taken so I printed em up! I haven't scanned that one yet though, I'll do it later. It's a scraplift too. I'll include all of that in a post tomorrow or something.

It's MARCH! can you beleive it? I can't. But I'm glad that it seems that time is moving quickly. I need it to if I'm ever going to survive Eric being gone. wellll... Off to beddy-by. I'm tired and i work in the morning. Night!

They have everything you could imagine lol A store, A Walk Down Memory Lane, message boards, contests, challenges, gallery, design team, kits, ideas & tips... It's pretty awesome, I have to admit. I've been chatting it up with the gals on the message board for the past couple of days and I'm really having fun with it... I haven't bought anything yet but their kits look pretty sweet and pretty stocked with lots of product!! Anyways, just check em out! Here's the design team's blog too!!!

Missing Pains...

For those of you who don't know, missing pains are the pains you feel in your soul that never quite subside when the one you love can't be with you. For me, it's a sinking feeling in my stomach, and a lump in my throat from holding back just balling my eyes out. With that being said... I ran across a website, Half My heart is in Iraq, where I found someone who said this:

Ahh... This really gives me hope. I've never thought this way before and I really hope that I can digest this and try to adopt the concept on my own. I think it would really help me. Eric left, for real this time, eaaaaarly this morning, 4 a.m. to be exact. All of the families there, tiny little babies, all feeling the same things that I'm feeling. I had to hold back tears the entire time I was there. And I did, until I walked out of the place. I balled my eyes out and talked to myself, saying that I didn't want to leave. It really was pathetic, even considering the circumstances lol I took two pictures while I was there. Everyone was taking pictures, but for some reason, I couldn't do it. It really would have made me breakdown if I would have taken anymore, don't ask... Usually, i'd be taking a million, from every angle.

p.s. please excuse my crappy hair... It was four in the morning. lol I think I'm going to be alright... I really can't wait to get back into a routine again. So I can start creating again!! ahhhh I can't wait!

Well, I saw Eric off this morning. :( I won't see him again until he comes back for his leave in about six or seven months. OH, what am I going to do? It's a horrible feeling ya know. Knowing that the person you love most in the whole world isn't going to be around for so so long. He's pretty much my life. So I have to learn to be a little more independent I guess. Which isn't a bad thing. But I can't say enough how much I'll miss him. It's non-explainable in words.

On a happier note, I snapped a few pictures of Buckie this morning out in the snow. He was having a blast. He couldn't keep his nose out of the snow. He's such a cutie and makes my life a little bit happier every time I see him. :) He makes me smile. He's crazy just like Eric. And I love it. Here's my baby:

p.s. I'm still crossing my fingers about the DT at Scrapmojo. But I haven't heard anything yet. So we'll see. I'd be ecstatic if I got it... I really think it'd be the perfect thing for me while Eric is gone. I can't wait to get busy with scrapping again. :) Well, off to work i go. bahhh.

Sooo I got my hair cut and colored last night... I love it... Even though it's pretty dang dark haha The girl who did my hair was so cute and fun! Her name was Courtney and she did an awesome job. I really anxious for Eric to come back home and see it.

On a completely different note... I totally forgot to mention that I submitted a few layouts for consideration of the DT over at ScrapMojo! I haven't been able to participate in the last couple of challenges because of Eric getting ready to leave and all, but I totally love their challenge blog and their style is amazing. There is talent oozing from that site and I think it would be so cool to be a part of it! Plus... it's on my list of things to do before I turn 22 anyways... lol I need to get on the ball! Wish me Luck! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed!

Wellllll I had an awesome weekend with Eric! I was so excited when I saw him Thursday night, I couldn't stop hugging him. I didn't want to let him go. We had so much fun. We ate out a lot and went bowling and got to hang out with some of our friends. It was sooooooo crappy outside this morning when he brought me home. It was scary. The good thing is that he'll be back! lol He's far enough away now that he can't come back every night but he says that he should get a two day leave before they move on to their final training place. So he'll come back home, and hand over his car to me! (Pretty pumped about that too I'm not gonna lie haha) Can't wait to see him again of course.

For now though, I'm bored... and Erics gone and I need to get out of the house. I also need my hair cut. This is what I'm thinking... Make an appointment, Face the cold weather and crappiness outside and go get my hair done. I've been searching for pictures on the internet of what I think I might want... Something shorter and darker again. This is what I came up with. (I love Kelly Clarkson lol) I'm kind of nervous... But I'm always nervouse before I get my haircut. Anyone have any thoughts?

My sweetie is on his way home as we speak!! Yay!!! I'm at work right now, and I'm just itching to get outta here so I can go see him. It feels like he's been gone for ages but it's really only been about three weeks. After he leaves again in a few days he'll be gone for over a year. (oh boy.) I don't know how I'm going to do it. *Stay strong, Stay strong, Stay strong* That's what I keep telling myself. ANYWAYS... I get to see him!! ha I am so excited, you wouldn't even believe!

On a scrapbooking note... Hopefully I'll be getting back around to scrapping sometime next week (this whole weekend will be dedicated to Eric haha). So I'll be working on some new LO's to show you beautiful people! By the way, I never ever thought that anyone would end up looking at this thing so you have no idea how pumped I get when I see that I have comments or that people actually come to my Etsy shop! (Holy crap I have 16 people who consider me as a favorite!!) I'm pretty much obsessed with the internet... Between blogging, twopeas, SIStv, and flickr, I don't know if I'll ever get any sleep after I get off of work. I need to learn how to balance the internet with actually scrapbooking (instead of just looking at them).

Well, well... I watched the Superbowl last night at home by myself. Usually I'd be excited to go somewhere and party it up a little bit. But last night I just wasn't up for it. Lately, I haven't been up to doing much of anything. I think I'm just trying to get used to Eric not being here. Plus, I'm still trying to potty train Buckie, my little puppy. And you would think that maybe I could get something done while I sit at home all the time but no, I just surf the web instead. lol I really think I'm addicted. Is there a rehab for this? If so, I think I could really benefit.

Eric is coming home from his training for a few days this weekend!! You have no idea how pumped I am! I can't explain how much I've missed him! I've been able to talk to him a few times because he still has his cell phone but I just can't wait to see him. I hope it's like in the movies, when we see eachother and run in slow motion until I jump into his arms! haha Right. I've been trying to think of all the things that I want to do and that I want to say to him while he's here... and before he leaves for over a year. :( I'm sure you'll hear more about that later... And I'm sure that there will be pictures.

Since I haven't been able to create anything lately... I decided to get out my scrapbook and finally get around to scanning and uploading some of my older layouts. I thought it might ignite some kind of creative spark but nope... No Go. But here are a few of them anyway! :)

I've sort of been on a creative hiatus lately. I'm not sure what the deal is.... But I just haven't felt like doing much of anything creative for about the past week. I want to... But all I ever do is work, come home, surf the net, watch tv, and go to sleep. Then I get up in the morning and do it all over again. Hopefully this slump ends soon. But one good thing that comes out of surfing the web for so long is pictures from Flickr. I'm pretty much hooked on it now lol So before I go crazy from not posting anything creative for so long... This topic seemed so cute to blog about... Describe a walk downtown in your hometown when you were a child?? Well, I won't be describing walking downtown but when I was little there was a little corner store right down the street from my house. 'Bob's Five and Dime' was the name of the store. Apperantly it'd been there for quite some time because the man that owned it (Bob) and his wife ran the store when my mom was growing up as well.

I couldn't go there by myself, I had to have an adult go with me because I had to cross the street at the stoplight to get there. You would think that we would go all the time but I think my parents used it more as a special treat for me, a reward or something, rather than go there all the time.

It was a tiny little place with the whole store front painted bright red. There were two big windows in front and a sign in the window that you could tell had been there for years and years. It simply said 'Bob's Five and Dime'. Old wooden floors creaked when you walked through the store and there was "stuff" everywhere. From the floor to the ceiling... Everything you could think of. It sort of felt like you were staring at your storage closet in your basement except that everything was very neat and organized.

Bob and his wife would greet you as you walked in and they seemed to know everyone on a first name basis. Usually when we went, my mom would talk to Bob, but I would head straight to the candy wall. (Obviously a 5 or 6 year old's favorite part of the store) Jars upon jars of candy. You didn't buy just a bag of tootsie rolls or just a snickers bar... You got to buy each individual piece of candy that you wanted. Some were one cent, some three, and some were five cents. Bob's wife would stand there with me FOREVER while I picked out which kinds of candy I wanted. It probably doesn't seem like too much of a special story but the people were so nice and the store was so unique and I'll definitely never forget it...

Ah!! I just found this link to an article someone wrote about this store in our local newspaper!! I am so excited to read this and see a picture of Bob! Wow... Now I really do know the whole story... Take a gander if you'd like... It's a really cute story.
p.s. I was appearantly mistaken about it being his wife... It must have either been one of his daughters or his friends... I just remember she was really old too lol

Well... It's been a crazy weekend. Eric was supposed to leave last Thursday but his orders were not official yet so they told him to be at his training Center... about four hours away... on Saturday. Well we had a lot of fun those extra couple of days then we decided that the two of us would drive down to drop him off and I would drive back home Saturday night. Wellll... We get down there Saturday at six... And there is not a sole in sight. Then we find out that it's not until SUNDAY that he's supposed to be there! ahhh! It was actually pretty fun though because we got a hotel room and ate at this delicious Mexican restaurant that was next door and then had the whole day the next day just to hang out. We actually had a blast. I'm really glad we got another extra day to be together. This might sound dumb but I think it really made me appreciate him even more because I got to know all about "military Eric". (By the way, I'm searching for a "I Love My Soldier" shirt, so if anyone has any suggestions... Lemme know!) Well it finally got to be time to drop him off (6:00) and to make a long story short... We were there for about four more hours before I could leave. So we said our goodbyes. :( :( I cried and cried... And then I drove allll the way home and didn't get here until about 2 in the morning. boo. I didn't get to bed until 4 am and then had to wake up at 7 to get ready for work. whew. I'm sooooooooooo pooped. Off to work I go. Here's some pictures I snapped over the weekend. (We took Buckie with us. He was too funny)

Good and Bad news. Bad news is Eric is still leaving. Good news is that Eric's day of departure has been postponed to Saturday!! Yay! That means I have two and a half extra days to spend with him! :) We went to Chipotle yesterday for lunch and chowed down... I think he'll miss Chipotle more than he'll miss me lol Then for dinner we went to Fuji Steakhouse (which is a less good, but still very tasty version of Benihanas) and ate our hearts out again. Needless to say we ate like kings yesterday. I really haven't ate anything yet today and I'm very content with that because I'm still full from yesterday. Today we've just been hanging out and watching tv. It's nice :) We're watching Nip Tuck now. A friend of ours, Heather, made me this suuuuuuper super awesome, cool, wonderful bracelet that I wish I could take a good enough picture of to show everyone. It's all silver and clear little beads and things and it has blocks on it that say his rank and last name... I almost cried when she gave it to me because for one... it was soooo nice... and two... it reminded me once again that Eric has a whole other life that I don't really know too much about. I still haven't cried as much as I thought I would have by now. Last time he left I cried for about a week straight before he left. Now, it just hits me in spurts. Like I'll suddenly realize that this is the last time for over a year that we will sit and watch tv together and I'll just start crying randomly. My emotions are probably saving all the crying for after Eric is gone. Which I think is dumb but whatever.

On a really happy note... I went over to my best friend Katy's new place the other night and it was really sweet! It's a duplex with three bedrooms and a huge living room and cool little kitchen. I took some totally cute pictures of her and her kiddies... Who were completely crazy the whole time I was there. When I first walked in the door I saw them running around trying to hide. Katy said that they told her they were going to "prize" me. It wasn't much of a surprise because they were "hiding" right in the middle of the living room floor. They are too cute. But anyways, I'm so happy for Katy being able to have a really awesome place for her and her kids to live. There's soooo much wall space which really excited me because I thought that maybe she would let me decorate, lol. I was pumped until we looked in her lease and found out that she wasn't allowed to paint anything other than the color white. boo. Maybe I'll paint her a huge wall canvas thing so she can get some color on those bare walls!

Well, Eric just found out when he's leaving for Iraq next Thursday... I'm not too happy about it. I've known for a while that he'd been planning on going back but his unit wouldn't ever pick a date... Less than a week. :( I don't know what I'm going to do. I spend pretty much all of my time with him... And I am really dreading that feeling of emptiness again. When he left last time it was torture for me every day he was gone for over a year. It's crazy to me that Eric is so nonchalant about it. I'm so scared for him... It's the most horrible feeling ever. He says he'll probably be gone for about a year... Which is what they told him last time too but it was a couple of months past a year before he came back. (*#&%$)(*#&%(*YKFHDSALKFJH#(*^$KJh

It's so frustrating to think about. I am very proud of him and I'm glad that the biggest reason that he's doing it is to be able to come back home and be able to stand on his own two feet and get a house and a new truck... I just wish that there was some other way to go about it. Ahhhh... So many questions, so much to think about. I just pray for his safe return and I hope that he is the same person when he comes home. I love you Eric!

Yo Ho! (Lot's of pictures this time around) It's all over! I'm a little sad but I'm kind of happy too. I didn't do too much for Christmas but I get overwhelmed pretty easily so I'm kind of glad that I don't have to worry about it for a whole year! First of all... We had a gift exchange at work... Secret Santas... and guess what I got!? The coolest gift ever! (A while back I was telling everyone at work how I might make decorated birdhouses for the Ryle Craft show next fall... They all kind of laughed because they didn't understand but I still told them I was going to do it.) Guess what i got!? A birdhouse! yay!! I can't wait to fix it up! On a totally different note... Is this not the cutest thing you've ever seen? (Left) It's Morgan... My best friend Katy's little girl. We went to the mall the other day and no matter how many times we told her to pull her pants up... This is the result we got. I couldn't resist taking a picture. She thought it was so funny! I can't wait to make a scrapbook page for this picture. Maybe I'll frame it and give it to Katy. Speaking of her kiddies... Jon's a cutie too. Such a ham. I don't have any pictures of #3, Logan, but he's a doll too. Oh! My aunt had her annual Christmas Partay a few weeks ago too... What a good time! A crazy good time! People showed up that I hadn't seen in probably a year. We learned the Soulja Boy dance, karaoked, playing drinking games, and rang a cowbell to initiate the passing out of jello shots! Eric wasn't there, :( so that kinda stunk... but I had fun with my family and friends. Here's some pictures to show how good of a time we had. Sooooooo... for Christmas I got some good stuff! Some gift cards to Scrapts Etc. and Hobby Lobby, a huge pad of all kinds of patterned paper, some new clothes, an embossing tool!, a wireless mouse for my computer!! yay! I'm pretty pumped about the wireless mouse, I tried to use it already but I think it's dead or something... I have to charge it? I dunno, I gotta read up on it. Well well... Time for bed. Night!

Well well well... the Christmas season is upon us... and it's crazy warm outside! I walked outside this morning to go to work with a winter coat on and it was like sixty degrees or more outside! It kind of felt like the end of winter when it starts getting warmer outside. Except it's not. boo. I don't like snow. Oh well. Heres our Christmas tree! It's not a very good picture. But you get the idea. We had so many funny ornaments. Ones that were falling apart, and probably have been for years but that we just hadn't thrown away yet. We had alot of hilarious, but cute ones that my little sister made in elementary school. I like sitting in our living room when the Christmas lights are all on! It makes it so comfy, cozy.

I ordered a kit from cupcakescrapshop.com and I got it yesterday! It's the first time I've ever ordered a kit and I love it! I think I might become obsessed now. Everything I got was so cute! I could have easily went to the local scrap store and bought most of the supplies but this is so much better for some reason! It's so exciting! I can't wait to use all the cute stuff. I'm also ready to start churning out some new crafty things for my etsy shop too. I just feel like I'm never home to do it. I'm gonna have to work on that. I think I might start doing the 365 self portrait thing too. I've seen it on a few blogs and I think it looks like fun! Maybe it'll help me improve my photographer skills :) Don't count on this though... It'll probably be a few days before I start this... if I start. We'll see.

I feel like I just need some time for myself. I wish I could just lock myself in my room and not go to work for a few days so I could scrap for days on end lol That would be super cool.

I Miss My Friend...

Yes, I know... He's a cute little ball of happiness! He's so cute I can't take it! This is my friend Ashley and her little baby boy, Blake. I miss Ashley... The other night was the first night I've seen her for months and I miss her like crazy! I miss her wacky personality. But boy oh boy do I love this little boy. I may not have gotten to see him as much as I have wanted to since he was born but I can't help but just want to squeeze him because he's so cute! That's all for now... I'll probably post those pictures up of my ornaments here in the next couple of days. Who knows if they'll be on Etsy or not because it'll be too late pretty soon and nobody will want to buy them because they won't get them by Christmas... boo. :( Should have started earlier on those.

So I've been enjoying making all the journaling stuff for my etsy shop... Lots of views but nobody has bought anything so far... I guess I'll give it a little time. lol Guess what! Eric bought me a brand new lap top! ahhhhH!! I cried because I was so happy! I wasn't expecting it at all and now I am sooo pumped to get it all set up and get it going! Now I won't have to take his computer home with me all the time. I'm so pumped! Woo!

I'm getting ready to make some Christmas ornaments. So I'll probably put a few of them on Etsy... Snowmen Ornaments, hopefully they'll turn out as cute as they look in my head. We'll see. Eric said he wants to help! This should be interesting! haha

I can't beleive it's already the first of December. This past year as literally FLOWN by. I have ZERO Christmas shopping done. I haven't even begun to think about it. Not one thought about shopping has crossed my mind, besides for myself. I'm so stingy. oh well. We'll see how things work out! I'll post pictures of my ornaments whenever I get em done! LAter!

Yay! I have the list of supplies at home... And I'm not at home at the moment, so I'll have to post them later but most of it was just generic... Chipboard heart is painted and drawn on with Sharpies, green index cards were used for journaling and the white dots are little felt balls I had leftover from Michaels from a few years ago lol the arrows are some random buttons I had from a grab bag a while ago. And the white doiley... or however you spell it were on clearance at my local grocery store. Go figure!

8. Meet new, crafty, scrapping friends! Online or in person!

9. Convince at least 2 people to try scrapbooking

That's all I got right now... Keep in mind I turn twenty two next August. So I have a little while to accomplish these things. I just gotta get my butt in gear because I have all these things that I REALLY want to do and have wanted to for some time now but my laziness always kicks in and I never get to try any of this stuff. Yessss! Ryle Craft Show was today! I ended up having to go by myself because Eric had to work... But I had fun! I am so inspired to start getting into gear and finding something to make for the craft show next year! I went to Hobby Lobby after the show today and "brainstormed". (Which means I bought a lot of neat, random stuff). I'll have to post some pictures of the finished product after I actually finish it.... because I have no idea what it's going to be yet.

I bought Buckie a hoodie! An Ohio State hoodie! It's so adorable, I can't take it. It makes me just want to squeeze him. It better look cute though... It cost me enough money. I think I might take it back. ;) Don't tell. I basically just wanted to see it on him and take a few pictures. I'm ridiculous. I did buy him a sweater though. I love it too, but everyone else thinks its corny and goofy and they tell me to take it off. But whatever, it's my dog. And I love him.

I went to my cousin Brittany's (middle) bar last night. Well, it's not hers... but she works there. It's called Deadwood. It's in Covington, KY. It's a pretty cool place, they do the whole "Coyote Ugly" thing and dance on the bar and stuff. Every time I've been the band has been awesome. Lots of old crazy biker people there. You should see some of the biker ladies! I saw a little too much of one last night because she got drunk and started flashing everyone. They dance funny too. It's hilarious to just sit back and watch. But anyways, here we are at Deadwood... Me Britt and my best friend Katy. We had a good time... but didn't stay for very long because I had to get some sleep to get up early this morning for the craft show. (I'm such an old lady.) (But not an old BIKER lady. whew.)
