In heaven... :)

So I'm thinking about hmm... nine or ten months ago... I went to Eric's house, like always... Just to hang out and stay the night. And he tells me he has something for me. ?? Wha? okay? Long story short... A FLIPPIN laptop!!! I cried. lol Probably the best gift EVER. Since my home computer takes about fifteen minutes to turn on, and about five minutes to switch from website to website... A laptop was my dream come true. That's when it all started. The blog, the etsy, contest calls, challenges blogs, new super talented friends, and not to mention a means of communicating with Eric after he left.

Anyway, the reason I brought all of that up is because without Eric, I'd never be able to accomplish something like this: Scrapstreet Magazine July Discovery Drive

I seriously woke up at three a.m. this morning to check it out lol I've been overwhelmed with some amazing words regarding myself and my work lately and I can't thank you all enough!

My next step in the "scrapping world" is to update my etsy shop finally! lol It's been forever and I've kind of let it slip to the side for the past couple of months but I'm ready to try something a little different this time around and I hope that I'll be able to find a few people to jump on this wagon with me! :)

HOLY MOLY!!! Are you kidding? My day is amazing now. Just saying...I logged into my SIS account and it said I had 13 new comments on this LO and I was like, uh, what? 13?! Thats insane! So then I'm looking at all the comments and someone said "Congrats on LO of the day!" and I was still like, wha??? So I searched the message boards for "LOTD" and I flipping found this! Can you imagine how excited I am!!? It's a little over the top, I must admit, but it's okay. lol I feel so honored. Alright, stepping down off of my soap box. Thanks for all of your awesome comments by the way. :) I sooooo appreciate it!

Fun news!

Yo Yo Yo! Well well well... I got some fun news!! Check out ScrapStars (my new favorite challenge blog) and you can see my mug! :) Fun times! Here's some new LO's that I've been working on. There's more... but I can't show those for a few days because... well, I'll tell you in a few days! It's very exciting though! :) (The second LO is for the challenge over at Scrapstars)

I've been trying to come up with some fun, new, exciting things to put in my etsy shop... I'm pretty sure I've come up with something great, I just need to go buy the supplies and we'll be ready to go :) Soooooo keep checking the shop for fun new things in the weeks to come! yay! Want a hint? eh, I'm not much into hints... I'll just tell ya!! haha I'm going to be putting together some kick butt kits! Not your oridinary kits... but fun, funky, and colorful kits! yay again! Sooooo here's the deal yo... The first challenge is up for the Make Me a Super Scrapper Contest over at The Scrapbook Site! :) It's a sketch challenge, and you can use any product you want this week! We've extended the deadline, so as long as you get registered for the board and get your LO posted by midnight next Saturday, the 21st... You are good to go! Keep in mind that the winner has the option to be on the DT!! :) Fun!!!

I'd really like to see some of my blogging friends come on over and see what you can do! :) We'd like some more participants, so tell your friends too! A little friendly competition never hurt, right?? Anyways... Here's the sketch for this week! And here's the link to the board!!

I know, I've been pretty sucky at blogging lately... I'll try and make up for it!! First, has anyone gone over and checked out the June kits at A Walk Down Memory Lane?? I got my hands on The Summer Afternoon kit and it's pretty awesome! My fave is the apple page. Real cute! I hear the other kit, Fashionista, is just as awesome... Make sure you go and check em out!

MAKE ME A SUPER SCRAPPER contest

at A Walk Down Memory Lane and The Scrapbook Site

You will be challenged during a 6 week contest at A Walk Down Memory Lane. The grand prize? A Guest Design team spot on our awesome Design team OR a prize package valued at over $100. The 2nd place winner will receive a prize package valued at $50. The 3rd place winner will receive a prize package valued at $25.

In your quest to become a Super Scrapper, we will challenge you each week to show off your best work, using a specific manufacturer's products. You may receive additional instructions such as using a sketch, using a layout recipie, or even scraplifting a layout.

Each week, your layout will be voted on by our message board members. Each vote gains you valuable points. This, along with votes from the Design Team will add up to your final score at the end of the contest. The one with the highest point total will be declared our Super Scrapper of the year!

Requirements:

** You need to be a registered member at the message board located at http://www.thescrapbooksite.com/

** In order to vote, you must be a registered member at the message board.

** You will find a list of rules and manufacturers to be used at the message board in the contest section.

** If chosen as the Super Scrapper, you will need to sign our DT contract if you choose that prize.

** International designers are welcome to apply, however if chosen, you agree to pay any additional shipping charges of your DT products.

Details:

** The contest will start on Sunday, June 15 and run for 6 weeks.

** We will kick off our contest with an online crop on Saturday, June 14 with challenges, classes and more!

** Points will be given for votes from the message board members, Design Team, and you will even receive points for your participation on the board, layouts uploaded to our gallery, and dollars spent at our store.
